WHO IS LAIRD MINOR?

Laird Minor is a US Army veteran, a former lawyer and a businessman.  He earned his undergrad from Boston Conservatory, law degree from Penn and MBA from University of Pittsburgh.

He is a devoted citizen with a record of community service.

President of the South Carolina Public Interest Foundation for the last five years. Performed with the Foothills Philharmonic, a volunteer community orchestra for 22 years, where he’s also been on the board for 10 years and served as treasurer for 7 years.

Served on the board of directors for the Greenville Historical Society for 5 years and as treasurer for 4 years.

Perhaps most importantly, he’s been politically engaged for several years and has strong working relationships with concerned citizens as well as many current members of the General Assembly. He’s helped draft legislation and understands the legislative process. Because of this, he would be an effective representative for the people in the district from day one.
